So many people come to me feeling concerned that they won't look natural in their portraits. They don't want to look awkward or uncomfortable, and they don't want their photographer making them feel even more uncomfortable. I completely understand this concern. Getting photographed can make people feel self conscious. This is not the experience I want you to have.
I want you to look beautiful, relaxed, and comfortable in your portraits and I want you to actually have fun when you are being photographed. I will guide you through flow posing, a series of positive, easy directions that keep your body relaxed and make you look your best on camera. I will guide you every step on the way and naturally pose you and help create an experience where you look and feel carefree, confident, and beautiful.
Flow posing "flows" one pose into the next with an easy seamless transition. I won't robotically tell you what to do, but I will instead guide you through each pose considering everything from your hands to you feet and even your facial expression. When we work together in this way, you don't have to feel awkward or embarrassed because you don't know what to do next. You can instead relax and trust that it is my job to make sure you look amazing. I want to make sure you love the experience just as much as you love your portraits.
This is the lovely Carly showing you the beautiful results of flow posing. Isn't she incredible? The best thing about flow posing is that it works with anybody shape and any ages. Posing can be used to minimize or accentuate features, and when you feel confident that your photographer has the experience to pose you in the right way, you will look natural, beautiful, and confidently yourself.
